  Music: Really can’t stop listening to Bjork - Post… it’s so awesome… she’s the woman of my dreams.

  Book: The Reader - Bernhard Schlink …The book the movie is based on… I haven’t seen the movie but the book is really good… and short… I read it in a day! And I loved it.

  Movie: Gnomeo and Juliet… I saw it in theatre with my family and I definitely had some good laughs. 

  Food: Hmmm… What did I eat? Well I had a snack wrap from Mcdonald’s on the way home from my parents… and it was pretty good I hate to say. Plus, FREE COFFEE at Mcdonald’s this week… so I’ll be visiting there much more often than usual.

  Person: Would have to be my Mom… it was her birthday and no one in my family got her a present and she still keeps a cheery mood somehow. It must be difficult to live there and keep a smile on your face. I couldn’t do it, so she’s a better person than I.

  Huzzah!

  New Radiohead! Yay! It is… Wednesday? There’s nothing good about Wednesday. Let’s make it… Things of this past week day!

  Music: I can’t not be obvious and cliche about it… the new Radiohead album! The King of Limbs, is a dream come true. Sometimes I wonder if I will still feel lost the day after I complete my life goal of going to a Radiohead concert.

  Book: Travels With My Aunt - Graham Greene. It is the only Graham Greene I’ve read, I picked it up at a used bookstore’s going out of business sale (very sad, but kind of awesome, for me anyway). Every book there was a dollar! So naturally I went apeshit. Or bananas, as the kids say these days (right?)! It’s hilarious and wonderful and my eyes gobbled it up quickly.

  Movie: Stroszek (1977)…I’m not really sure what to say here…. German people are crazy as balls (and I like it).

  Food: Korean Grill House on Queen street… My first Korean BBQ experience and quite the experience it is… it’s much more interactive and exciting to cook while you eat. Plus then I have to wait for everything to cook so I can’t just eat 4 times my body weight before I realize oh shit, I’m disgusting. 

  Person: My boyfriend, who I will call… Herb. Why does he deserve to be showcased here you may ask, as the coveted “Person of the Past Week”. Nothing springs to mind. Oh, wait:

  1)He carried ALL the groceries home today (except the celery).

  2) He complimented my cooking skills, even though he came home just as I managed to somehow spill ALL the spaghetti noodles on the counter (I swear I was doing perfect before that.)

  3) He picked me up at work, even though it was freeeeeeezing cold.

  4) He did the dishes and laundry (as he often does).

  5) He got a cute picture of us printed out and framed…oh jeez.

  I LOVE YOU HERB! You don’t even know!

  I read this short story about this older man who has a boring job and no ambition other than to watch all of the movies on this list of ‘the greatest movies of all time’ and every night he watches a couple of them and crosses them off and he feels as though it is the most accomplishing part of his day. The bottom line of the story is that his life is pathetic and worthless. I think it sounds like fun…where does that leave me?

  so last night i went to a tumblr meetup thing and this really weird drunk guy kept trying to hit on me. he told me he was a millionaire and would constantly tell me that he’s never been to prison. at the end of the night when i grabbed my coat he was hiding in the coat rack. i’m not sure but i think he may have followed me home and stood outside for a while.

  Hello

  Hey guys, I’m Jenny. Mmm, don’t have much to say, just trying out this website for now. I live in Oshawa, Ontario but I’m moving to Toronto in the summer! I should have better things to talk about here once that happens. Seems like there’s a lot of cool people on here so I think I’ll like it.
